New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger (FAH)

New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger (FAH) is a “gleaning” program. Volunteers help glean, or harvest, surplus produce from farms across NJ, and FAH staff distribute the produce to community organizations that serve those in need: food banks, soup kitchens, church pantries, and other hunger relief agencies.  FAH also collects surplus produce from grocery stores and wholesalers, rescuing more than 1.5 million pounds of produce annually from all sources.
