Oaks Integrated Care

Oaks Integrated Care is a community mental health agency offering mental health and social services to people of all ages.  Volunteers are needed for board and office work, counseling, support, client education, fund raising, and literacy volunteers to help high functioning mentally ill adults with reading/ writing skills to prepare them to further their education or enter into the work force.   609-267-5928 x 99836 – www.oaksintcare.org

 

Bancroft

Bancroft exists for one critically important reason:  to provide opportunities to children and adults with diverse challenges to reach their greatest potential.  Volunteers (16+) will be supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, including autism and acquired brain injuries in a variety of assignments including recreational activities, arts & crafts, classroom support or in office settings assisting fundraising, admissions, finance, and other support teams.  For more information or to request an application contact Darleen Blesi Director, Community and Donor

Kate’s Place, Inc

Kate’s Place, Inc. is a non profit social program that provides a safe and friendly environment for developmentally delayed teens and young adults 18 and above. The program currently takes place in Moorestown on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 2:00 to 6:00pm with the possibility of extending to Tuesdays and Thursdays in the near future.  We are in need of compassionate volunteers.

Community Options, Inc.

Community Options, Inc. is a pioneering, national nonprofit organization that has assisted thousands of people with disabilities to depart institutions, live in settings of their choice, achieve fiscal autonomy and explore recreational opportunities that foster self-esteem.  COI is currently recruiting groups (businesses, corporations, college organizations, etc.) to participate in Project: CARE (Community Assisted Residence Enhancement).

Muscular Dystrophy Association

The Muscular Dystrophy Association seeks volunteers (16+) to help with general office duties answering phones, preparing mailings, and organizing fundraising projects that may be held in your local community.  Candidates are being sought for the Advisory Council.  Counselors (18+) are also needed for one-week summer camp in June. MDA serves more than 1,200 patients in the South Jersey Area.  Training provided.  For more information, call 856-356-4467.
