Learn how to become an Advocate for abused and neglected children in Burlington County. Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of Mercer and Burlington Counties is currently recruiting volunteers for Summer and Fall training sessions to advocate for the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. CASA and its volunteers speak for children in court, serve as fact finders for the family court judges and safeguard the interests of the children while they are in the foster care system.

Share your passions, your talents, your hobbies, and your experiences. And/or become a mentor and engage in building a caring, nurturing relationship with individual youth. Connect to Mentoring provides young adults in foster care with a mentor to provide a listening ear, helpful words and an open heart. Our mentors assist our mentees with finding hope inside themselves and by being a constant force in their ever changing lives.

Komaza ,  501c 3  organization, located in Burlington County, needs 4 male and 4 females for a summer camp program.Volunteers will need to be energetic, need little physical accommodations and able to pass criminal background check.

New Jersey Orators, Inc.

New Jersey Orators, Inc. (www.oratorsinc.org) is a 30-year old non-profit youth organization serving annually over 250 youth in eight counties throughout New Jersey, including chapters in Burlington County. Its mission is to teach the art of public speaking, an appreciation for literature, reading and media arts literacy, and life skills to youth from 7 to 18 years of age in preparation for college.

Burlington County Municipal Alliance Network

Burlington County Municipal Alliance Network works with, and is funded by, the Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, county and local government.  Municipal Alliances plan, coordinate, and conduct alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse prevention activities to benefit communities.  There are 26 alliances serving 33 communities in Burlington County.  Local events and projects need input and support.  There are many volunteer opportunities for adults and groups of supervised teens.  Call the County Municipal Alliance Coordinator at 609-265-5538   Elfrieda Francis,
