Parents Anonymous Parent Stressline/Family Helpline Volunteer

Parents Anonymous volunteers give four hours of their time per week to take calls on the Parents Anonymous Parent Stressline/Family Helpline. Callers include parents under stress and in crisis, teens that think they may be pregnant, professionals and others interested in learning about Parents Anonymous. A training course is provided. Calls may be taken from one's own home with the use of a call diverter.

Allies, Inc

Allies, Inc. is a non-profit organization where hope becomes a life. Volunteers 18 or older are needed to help individuals live and work as independently as possible, contribute to their communities and be included in all aspects of the community.  Looking for volunteers to offer their special talents and skills such as; playing board or video games, cooking, gardening, sports, knitting and other fun things. Also, volunteers are needed to collect gently used clothing for the Greensleeves Thrift Store, 31High Street, Mount Holly and to collect soda cans.

Urban Airshed Reforestation Program (UARP)

Urban Airshed Reforestation Program (UARP) was started by The NJ Tree Foundation in Camden, NJ in 2002. The mission of the UARP is to improve air and water quality in the city of Camden while empowering residents to create positive changes in their own communities. Over the past eight years, we have hand-planted thousands of trees with Camden residents, schools, churches, and non-profits. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome.  Wear sturdy shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty!
