Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of Mercer and Burlington Counties is currently recruiting volunteers for Summer and Fall training sessions to advocate for the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. CASA and its volunteers speak for children in court, serve as fact finders for the family court judges and safeguard the interests of the children while they are in the foster care system.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER INTERN – Volunteer Needed

The Vegetarian Society of South Jersey (VSSJ), an all-volunteer, nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is Educational, Supportive and Social, is seeking a Volunteer Social Media Manager Intern to update and maintain social media content on various platforms. Experience with Instagram and graphics/web design is a plus. The Social Media Manager will report directly to the VP of Operations and Volunteer Coordinator.

Rancocas Nature Center

Rancocas Nature Center, 794 Rancocas Road (Exit 45A off Rt. 295) Westampton, NJ needs volunteers for help with various activities at the Center. Some of these include gardening (weeding, planting, watering), working in our gift shop (greeting visitors, answering the phone, taking down program registrations, making sales), caring for our animals (feeding animals, cleaning tanks), creating brochures and program fliers, as well as speakers with expertise on various nature related topics. Volunteers are also needed to conduct or assist with important research projects.

Pompeston Creek Watershed Association (PCWA)

Pompeston Creek Watershed Association (PCWA) founded in 1963 to promote the restoration and conservation of the Pompeston Creek Watershed (Cinnaminson, Delran, Moorestown & Riverton). Volunteers are needed for education programs, stream clean ups, administrative work, scientific water quality monitoring, & restoration projects.
