BATONA Beautification at Bass River State Forest

Bass River Twp., NJ – Join Bass River State Forest staff and Outdoor Club of South Jersey volunteers on Saturday June 3rd from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to celebrate the American Hiking Society’s 25th Annual National Trails Day. Help beautify the section of the BATONA Trail in New Jersey’s First State Forest.

Volunteer assignments include trimming trails and removing trash. We even have a project for younger volunteers - cleaning the interpretive panels along the forest trails.
