Hug Wraps - Hospital Gown Alternatives for Cancer Patients Needs Volunteers

Hug Wraps. a 501c(3) nonprofit makes hospital gown alternatives for cancer patients to wear to various treatments. Volunteer needs include: Grant Writers, Fundraising help ,Social Media help, Graphic Designers and Legal Counsel .The first Saturday of each month, Hug Wraps meets from 10-2 at: Olde City Quilts, 339 High St. Burlington, NJ Volunteers are welcome to come! Even if you can't sew, there is always something for you to do!

Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International of Southern New Jersey

Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International of Southern New Jersey provides information, counseling, and support to newly-diagnosed diabetics and their families.  This all-volunteer agency provides literature to educate the public, support the diabetic, and raises funds for the cure of diabetes.  Teens welcome to apply. PetPALS of Southern New Jersey

PetPALS of Southern New Jersey provides services for the companion animals of people living with serious illness or senior citizens.  Volunteers are needed to assist by becoming a "PAL" to a client and pet: deliver food and supplies, transport pets for vet and grooming appointments, open your home to a pet that needs temporary or permanent shelter, or assist with fundraising activities. Please call 856-939-6900 for information. Emergency Squads of Burlington County

The Emergency Squads of Burlington County need many additional volunteers, especially those available to respond to daytime calls during the week.  EMT certification classes are offered in county.  About half the squads also sponsor junior auxiliaries for teen volunteers. Food Bank of South Jersey

The Food Bank of South Jersey’s mission is to provide an immediate solution to the urgent problem of hunger, by providing food  to needy, teaching them to eat nutritiously, and helping them find sustainable ways to improve their lives.  Volunteer Hours are M – F 9:00 – 11:30am and 12:30 – 3pm shifts.  No walk-ins, all volunteering must be scheduled.  Jobs include: sorting, packing boxes of can goods, sorting non-foods, packing Kidz Packs and Senior bags, etc.  There are also offsite Hope Mobile and special events volunteering available.  Must be over 13 years old.  13 – 16
