Burlington County Municipal Alliance Network

Burlington County Municipal Alliance Network works with, and is funded by, the Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, county and local government.  Municipal Alliances plan, coordinate, and conduct alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse prevention activities to benefit communities.  There are 26 alliances serving 33 communities in Burlington County.  Local events and projects need input and support.  There are many volunteer opportunities for adults and groups of supervised teens.  Call the County Municipal Alliance Coordinator at 609-265-5538   Elfrieda Francis,

New Lisbon Developmental Center

New Lisbon Developmental Center is in need of Group Sponsors to provide Cottage parties and special projects to benefit developmentally disabled adults in our residential treatment center.  Individual volunteers are also needed to assist with recreational activities, perform light repair of items donated to our Thrift Shop, and assist with bike repair. Bancroft

Bancroft exists for one critically important reason:  to provide opportunities to children and adults with diverse challenges to reach their greatest potential.  Volunteers (16+) will be supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, including autism and acquired brain injuries in a variety of assignments including recreational activities, arts & crafts, classroom support or in office settings assisting fundraising, admissions, finance, and other support teams.  For more information or to request an application contact Darleen Blesi Director, Community and Donor

Kate’s Place, Inc

Kate’s Place, Inc. is a non profit social program that provides a safe and friendly environment for developmentally delayed teens and young adults 18 and above. The program currently takes place in Moorestown on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 2:00 to 6:00pm with the possibility of extending to Tuesdays and Thursdays in the near future.  We are in need of compassionate volunteers.

Special Olympics New Jersey – Burlington County
