American Association of University Women Burlington County

American Association of University Women (AAUW) is a membership-based organization that advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research. The branch furthers the national mission and initiatives while promoting and designing local, cultural, environmental and educational programs. The branch contributes to the National Educational Foundation, the Legal Advocacy Fund and STEM programs. Scholarships are annually awarded to women furthering their college education at RCBC.

Pinelands Institute for Natural & Environmental Studies (P.I.N.E.S.),

Pinelands Institute for Natural & Environmental Studies (PINES), a program of Whitesbog Preservation Trust, provides hands-on science and social studies field trips for school groups, scout groups, and adults. It is located on the grounds of Whitesbog Village in Browns Mills. Volunteers are needed to assist teacher-naturalists with nature, science, & living history programs, as well as clerical and office work.
