Emmanuel Cancer Foundation (ECF

Emmanuel Cancer Foundation (ECF), is a not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to provide a variety of specialized services, at no charge, to any New Jersey family facing the challenges of caring for a child with cancer. The distinctive feature of ECF’s program is the tailored package of support provided to the family. The Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, privately funded by the contributions of individuals, corporations, foundations and community groups.

PetPALS of Southern New Jersey

PetPALS of Southern New Jersey provides services for the companion animals of people living with serious illness or senior citizens.  Volunteers are needed to assist by becoming a "PAL" to a client and pet: deliver food and supplies, transport pets for vet and grooming appointments, open your home to a pet that needs temporary or permanent shelter, or assist with fundraising activities. Please call 856-939-6900 for information. YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties

YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties, with locations in Mount Laurel and Burlington City, has many volunteer opportunities for seniors, adults, families, and teens 15+. Departments that utilize volunteers are: childcare, sports, baby-sitting, after school care, aquatics and administrative.  The YMCA believes that an on-the-job experience will benefit the student, the community, and the Y.

Legacy Treatment Center

Legacy Treatment Center serves the needs of the residents of Burlington County, seeks volunteers for both office work and consumer assistance.  Duties include light paperwork, filing, organization and some follow-up phone calls to consumers.  Must have pleasant demeanor, good organizational skills and ability to work with people. Pinelands Institute for Natural & Environmental Studies (P.I.N.E.S.),

Pinelands Institute for Natural & Environmental Studies (P.I.N.E.S.), at Whitesbog Village in Browns Mills is a program of Rowan College which provides hands-on science and social studies field trips for school groups and adults. Volunteers needed weekdays to assist students with nature, science & history programs as well as clerical and office work. New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault

New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault  (NJCASA) is the state-wide coalition of sexual violence programs. Our mission is to promote the compassionate and just treatment of survivors, their loved ones and significant others, foster collaborative relationships between community systems, and affect attitudinal and behavioral changes in society as we work toward the elimination of sexual violence against all people. We are a not-for profit, 501(c)(3) organization.

Bancroft

Crossroads Programs, Inc. provides abused, abandoned, and homeless youth (including teen mothers) with opportunities for positive growth and development through residential and community-based programs.  Use your skills creatively!   Volunteers are needed for mentoring; teaching and tutoring; motivational workshops; recreation, transportation, or child care aides; fundraising and clerical assistance; arts & crafts and other group leadership; landscaping; facility maintenance; etc.
