  • Legacy Treatment Center

    Legacy Treatment Center serves the needs of the residents of Burlington County, seeks volunteers for both office work and consumer assistance.  Duties include light paperwork, filing, organization and some follow-up phone calls to consumers.  Must have pleasant demeanor, good organizational skills and ability to work with people.   • Emergency Squads of Burlington County

    The Emergency Squads of Burlington County need many additional volunteers, especially those available to respond to daytime calls during the week.  EMT certification classes are offered in county.  About half the squads also sponsor junior auxiliaries for teen volunteers.   • American Cancer Society - Eastern Division, Southwest Region

  • Animal Welfare Association (AWA)

    Animal Welfare Association (AWA), Voorhees-- works with companion animals.  Adult volunteers needed for committees and special event projects.  Volunteers (16+) needed for: 

     * Customer Services such as telephone, reception, member and data management;

     * Pet-Assisted Therapy to visit residents of area nursing homes;

     * Humane Education to present special informational programs in elementary schools;

  • Servicios Latinos de Burlington County

    Servicios Latinos de Burlington County is a non-profit organization that serves the Hispanic Community of Burlington County.  Our office is located at 795 Woodlane Road,  High Street, Mount Holly, NJ 08060 on the 2nd floor in the Burlington County College.  Some of the services we offer are: Information and referral, Case Based Management, (ESL) English as a Second Language Classes, Citizenship Classes, Basic Immigration Services, Translation Services, and general assistance for those seeking housing, employment, doctors, dentists, etc.  Servicos Latinos hosts a number of events throughout the year including: The Hispanic Heritage Celebration, an annual Health Fair, Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, Children Christmas and Toy Drive, Three Kings' Day Celebration, Day of the Race, Cinco De Mayo Award Luncheon.  Volunteers are always needed to assist with office help, ESL Classes, Events, etc.  Angela Gonzalez, Director -Contact us at 609-518-7171 or visit our website   http://www.selbuc.org/
