  • Newborns in Need

    Newborns in Need - Serving all God’s Children - a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity. Provides: provides essential baby items for the economically disadvantaged. We provide customized clothing and items for premature babies. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP? Donate baby items. (Gently used items accepted up to 12 months, call for pick-up) • Have a diaper drive or baby shower. • Volunteer to knit, crochet, sew, quilt or package store-bought items. • Make a financial donation.• Join us at a meeting listed below. SUGGESTED ITEMS NEEDED: Blankets/Quilts, Sleepers, Gowns, Onesies, Burp cloths, Baby Outfits, Wipes, Comfort toys, Baby wash, Diapers, Booties/Socks, Handmade burial layettes. Meeting Information: third Friday of the month at First United Methodist Church of Mt. Holly, 25 Brainerd St., Mt. Holly from 11am.   • Acacia Hospice

    Acacia Hospice is a small non-profit end of life care organization located in Burlington County and serving patients and their families across the region. Our volunteers are treasured members of our hospice family and we are incredibly grateful for the love and support they bring to our work. We are always looking for community members who want to take part in the care we provide and there are many ways to do so. We are on the lookout for Patient & Family Support Volunteers to serve as companions to patients and their families, Administrative Support Volunteers to help with a number of office and organizational projects, Pet Therapy Volunteers who would like to bring their certified animals to brighten our patients’ lives, Music Therapy Volunteers to play and sing with those we serve, and Veteran Volunteers who want to support other veterans who are receiving end-of-life care Additionally, we are always looking for crafty folk who like to sew, crochet, and knit to help make quilts and blankets for our patients. We provide training, an amazingly supportive team environment, and lots of gratitude. Thank you for considering us!
