Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate assists sexual assault victims in our Sexual Assault Services Program. A volunteer must be 18 and a high school graduate at time of application. Advocates receive training specific to sexual assault issues. An advocate learns how to provide supportive phone counseling and may accompany sexual assault victims at hospitals, police stations or court. Bilingual volunteers are desperately needed!
Short-term projects (such as staffing tables at community fairs or assisting on a fundraising event committee) or a special skill that could benefit CONTACT.
